How much money do tech blogs like Engadget, Techcrunch make?

Any estimates?

How much money do tech blogs like Engadget, Techcrunch make?
How much money sites like this make depends on number of factors. If they are providing information, needed information that will attract visitors, then advertisers will want to use their site to place ads. The ads is where the real money comes from with these types of sites.

Now, if they are providing different types of services, like downloads, music, DVDs and other goodies, they can charge a fee to access the site to use the goodies, and get advertisers to place ads as well. This is the best set up for getting money. To both charge fees to those who come and for ads to be placed by advertisers.

However, it is easier to place information for free to get the largest number of people visiting the site. The larger the site, the more pages linked, the more ads can be placed. This is what most do, make detailed and layered sites that attract many and the ads will pay for all the work they do in placing the information for free. iVillage is a good example.
